New NJCACC Chairman John T. Lau Targets Greater Benefits and Community Services

Somerset, NJ - Appliedinfo President John T. Lau has been elected as the new chairman for the New Jersey Chinese American Chamber of Commerce (NJCACC), the premier Chinese American business association in New Jersey.  Executive Director Peter Liu has also been appointed by NJCACC to handle all program and membership affairs.  Liu comes from a deep business background and has developed a number of US-China exchange programs that connect Chinese American businesses with mainland China over the years. 

At a general membership meeting at Appliedinfo Partners, Inc.’s company headquarters on June 27, Lau discussed his vision and objectives with current and incoming members.    Lau spoke of the need for the organization to deliver more benefits to members, and to bring about more positive impact on the community in the coming year.  “Developing a member-centric organization and increasing the number of programs to benefit business owners are key goals for this organization.  I will undertake a leadership role to ensure that together we achieve these goals,” said Lau.

Among the thirty people who attended the meeting, ten new members pledged to join and support the organization.  Many of them are seasoned professionals of their trades who have founded their own companies or are independent consultants of their specialty fields from medical and finance to web and graphic design.
