Betty Lau, Chief Executive Officer
A 20-year entrepreneurial veteran, Betty Lau is co-founder of Appliedinfo Partners and has been the CEO of the company since its inception in 1990. Her technical leadership resulted in the development of Appliedinfo Partner's flagship product, DivTRAK®, the leading diversity supplier management software. On a day-to-day basis, Mrs. Lau spearheads the Appliedinfo Services business, overseeing the development of a variety of innovative relational database management systems for clients such as Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, and DiGiorgio/White Rose.
To lay the groundwork for her independent success, Mrs. Lau began her career at AT&T, where she entered as a programmer and left as a project manager. She holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Queens College in New York City.

As Co-founder and President of Appliedinfo Partners, Inc., John Lau is considered the pioneer in the Supplier Diversity
management software. John has over 25 years of experience in supplier diversity issues, technical project management,
design, implementation and systems integration and is recognized for his expertise in integrated diversity and
technology solutions among Fortune 500 companies. His visionary leadership has led to the creation of four business
areas of Appliedinfo Partners: DivTRAK®, D2 Creative, Appliedinfo Services and Appliedinfo Technology. Each division
services clients' needs in its area of specialty from software and hardware solutions to creative communications via
television, video and other media channels.
John has been ranked among the "Top 50 Pros to Know" by iSource Magazine in 2002, honored as one of the fifty most
influential minorities in business, and recognized as the Asian Entrepreneur of the Year by Asian Enterprise Magazine.
Appliedinfo was one of the top twenty-five 8(a) companies in 1997 and has been featured in Fortune Magazine and on CNBC.
John is active in various organizations regionally and nationally. He serves on the board of directors and is elected
the Treasurer for the Airport Minority Advisory Council (AMAC), which is the only national non-profit organization
dedicated to advocating equal opportunities for minorities and women in airport contracting and employment. John is
also the Vice President of the board of directors of the Tuck Minority Alumni Association (MBEP), and the Vice-Chair
of the New Jersey Chinese American Chamber of Commerce, initiating programs such as minority certifications and how
to do business with corporations.
Prior to founding Appliedinfo, Mr. Lau was a vice president at Shearson/American Express and a systems manager at
Citibank. Mr. Lau received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Physics from the State University of New York at Stony
Brook. He has attended Dartmouth's Amos Tuck School of Business Administration.
